Parish Updates - June 10, 2021
June 13, 2021 - Year of Eucharistic Miracle

It was TIME FOR JESUS TO GO OUT of our church and remind us that we need to strive for BRINGING ALL TO HIM, SHARING HIM WITH ALL AND BEING ONE IN HIM THROUGH THE EUCHARIST!
In the last few weeks,...

Nieda Tice Palmer, our Pre-School Director of Our Lady’s Little Christians (OLLC) is leaving effective July 2, 2021. Mrs. Tice Palmer is leaving us to pursue other opportunities.
Mrs. Tice Palmer has been with OLLC since August 2004, starting as a part-time Teachers Aide. She assumed the position of Director in 2008. At various times throughout her career, she served as both teacher and director. Mrs. Tice Palmer has contributed to the success of our Pre-school, now an Early Learning Center. We acknowledge her efforts and thank her for the unconditional dedication and commitment she has given throughout the years. This is a great loss for us but we respect her decision.
Mrs. Kendra Hunt will take over the position of Director of the Early Learning Center. She began her career at OLLC as a Teacher’s Aid/Substitute in 2012. She became a full-time Teacher in 2017. We look forward to watching where she will take the “Class of 2034/2035”.
On behalf of everyone at Our Lady help of Christians Catholic Church, we will pray for both Mrs. Tice Palmer and Mrs. Hunt the best of success in their future endeavors.

Memorare to St. Joseph
Remember, O most chaste spouse of the Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who implored your help and sought your intercession were left unassisted.
Full of confidence in your power I fly unto you and beg your protection. Despise not O Guardian of the Redeemer my humble supplication, but in your bounty, hear and answer me. Amen
33 Day Consecration to St Jospeh started on Wednesday, May 19th,
ending on Father’s Day, Sunday June 20.
You can follow along on YouTube with Father Alain and Father Ben daily
“With the phrase “guardian of the mystery of God” used to describe St. Joseph’s role in salvation history, Pope St. John Paul II has left us with a sure point of departure as we begin our 33-Day Consecration to St. Joseph. It is for us, all of us, to become a new creation, to become people who, having been knit together by the Holy Spirit, are now focused and bidden to draw life from the Mystery of God, from the mystery made flesh in the person of Jesus Christ, the one who bids us to come after him, called to become faithful guardians of the mystery of God. “
— Bishop Gerard Battersby

HELP KEEP OUR CHURCH CLEAN
Since last year, OLHOC cut back on many of the services we use to pay for. Due to financial restraints, the lawn maintenance is all done by volunteers, we no longer have a staff person to help out with the facilities, and we cut back on our cleaning services to once a week. Please do your part in helping to keep our church clean.
AYUDA A MANTENER LIMPIA
